Family Science Night Handbook

This Family Science Night Handbook is designed to help a team of four to six people develop and conduct a Family Science Night in a school, library, museum, or other context.  This handbook is divided into three parts.  The first part, called Background, describes clearly what a Family Science Night is and how to plan and present a Family Science Night.  The second part, called Activities, provides instructions for about 25 activities in the form that we use them on tables at a Family Science Night.  You may copy and use these activities or modify them to meet your needs.  You will also want to devise some of your own activities utilizing the talents of members of your team.  We hope that you will share these new activities with us, and through this Web site, with others.  The third part, called Appendices, gives additional helpful materials for planning a Family Science Night.
